FOSTER OR ADOPT OPPORTUNITY

This is our pretty Pixie, born c. 2021 in the UK and currently in foster in the Bristol Area.

A loving and affectionate Staffie cross, this beautiful blind girl really has the most wonderful face and colouring - bright and open and smiley with a lovely latte coloured eye patch and coat.

Pixie was born blind and so has known no other life other than the one she loves! We think her blindness may be due to a neurological birth defect, as she also has a slightly wonky gait. However she walks well and enjoys playtime (as you can see from her lovely videos).

Pixie lives with a French Bulldog and 2 cats and is generally good with dogs and cats that she meets out and about.   She can be slightly terratorial around food, but this is very manageable - just feed her separately.

Pixie has that wonderful trait that Staffies have - very loving and very loyal.  She loves attention from her humans, and her lovely open face lights up into a big staffie smile for her special people.

Pixie comes with the advantage of only needing short walks.  So although she has the beauty and athletic looks of her breed type, she does not need a great deal of exercise.

Please note - we do not rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 10.

Type of Home Sought

Pixie can live with dogs and cats, pending sensible introductions befitting a blind dog.

She needs only short walks so would not be able to keep up with a very active family.

As a big-hearted Staffie, she would like her humans to be around for much of the time.

Pixie would also love a garden in which to chase her ball!
