Character

Meet Enzo, born c. 2020, fully sighted, neutered and currently in foster in Serbia. Enzo is described as “a wonderful dog. Such a truly lovely soul”. Enzo weighs 21kgs and is a bit of a chunky boy at the moment, so he’s been put on a diet.

Enzo spent months on the street in front of a small shop. Later it was found out his owner had abandoned him there, and there Enzo stayed, sadly waiting for their return. His rescuer fed him every day and looked out for his safety, but people kept chasing him away and threatening to hurt him. Enzo was living next to a busy road where he could have been hit by a car at any moment, so his rescuer stepped in to take care of him.

Enzo was taken to the safety of a private shelter, but as a sociable dog he was still alone and a little sad. Recently he has moved into foster to get used to living in a home environment. His first report is that he is settling well in the house and slowly getting used to living indoor and doing well with house training. He’s good with the other dogs and is a big cuddle-bug. Good boy Enzo!

That’s Enzo, an all-round good boy. He absolutely loves people, and his tail never stops wagging.

His rescuer says when “he sees people, he becomes so happy. He seeks attention, loves to play, and enjoys cuddles. He just wants to be loved and close to someone. Even though life has not been kind to him, he is still full of joy and love.”

Enzo is a smart looking chap with his black coat, tan eyebrows, muzzle and matching socks. He is good with dogs, displaying his friendly, playful nature. At the moment, it is not known how he is with cats.

Enzo is a very playful, with a high energy (9 out of 10). So he’s looking for an active home, and some long walks would help his waistline. He travels well in a car, although may want to sit in the beside you to help you navigate. He is happy to wear a collar and walks on a lead. Going out for walks maybe a new experience for him, so he could need further training in this area.

Type of Home Sought

Enzo is good with people and dogs. He is looking for a loving home with a garden where he can play and indulge in a zoomie or two. As with all rescue dogs his Adopter(s) will need to allow time for him to decompress and be patient and provide guidance will he settles into UK life and then his happy nature should soon shine through.

Due to travel restrictions Enzo will be able to travel from April 2026.
