FOSTER OR ADOPT OPPORTUNITY
Elsie, a female mixed Spaniel thought to be a Sprocker, was born in the UK in January 2026.
Elsie was born with microphthalmia (small eyes) so will never be able to see.
Her rescuer acted out of great compassion in taking her on, fearing she would be killed for her blindness, but Elsie isn't really suited to the home where she lives.
Although they love her very much, sadly now her people can no longer manage her and her liveliness, and we are looking to move Elsie as soon as possible.
Elsie is typical of her breed - very vivacious indeed! We are looking for an experienced home for Elsie, somewhere that she can experience the firm boundaries that she needs, training, routine, patience and with someone around for most of the time. A home that will enjoy going back to basics with her and putting training in place.
Elsie currently lives with an older dog. It is not known how she is with cats.

Please note - we do not rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 10.
Type of Home Sought
Experienced, patient, a home ready to train and stick to routines.
Somebody at home for most of the day.
A garden for Elsie to sniff around.
With or without other dogs; well behaved dogs who can show Elsie the ropes would be helpful!
