Character
Dudley (born June 2025) is partially sighted and currently in foster in Serbia. At just 3 months old he was abandoned due to damage to one eye caused by a virus. A local rescuer stepped in and contacted BDRUK to ask if he could be promoted in the UK to help him find his forever home.
Dudley is only young but is big boy, he is already 18kgs (November 2025). It’s thought he is Great Dane or a Great Dane cross so may grow to 55kgs or more. Dudley is stunning with his harlequin markings; he still has to grow into his giant paws but already has a majestic presence.
Due to his size his fosterer is working to ensure he is well socialised. Dudley is looking for a home who will commit to continuing his education. Adopter(s) must be prepared to put in the effort, consistency and training required for a puppy.
Dudley is used to living in a home environment and is house trained. As he is just a young pup Dudley is very playful and has a high energy level (8 out of 10). He is happy to wear both a collar/harness and walks nicely on the lead. He’s good in the car - he usually just sits, a bit nervous at first, but overall he travels well.
Dudley is described as very “cheerful and loves being around people”. He enjoys affection and shows it in return. He gets along well other dogs but initially can be a little shy around them. It is not known how Dudley is with cats.

Type of Home Sought
Dudley is looking for a home where he can continue his education. Adopter(s) must be prepared to put in the effort, consistency and training required for a puppy, and experience in this regard is preferable. A garden or yard is essential and large breed experience would be helpful.
Due to travel restrictions Dudley will be able to travel from April 2026.

Dudley will need to be neutered when an appropriate age and this will be at adopter expense.
Our adoption donation is £350. This includes travel to the UK, their vaccinations, pet passport, microchip and all preparation for travel. They also come with 5 weeks free insurance (excluding The Channel Isles & Isle of Man).
