Character
Dante (born April 2025) is a gorgeous, partially sighted boy. He is neutered, weighs 19kg, and is currently in foster in Serbia.
Dante was rescued from the street with his brother when he was just a small puppy. Sadly, he had an injured eye when he was found. He was taken to an ophthalmologist who confirmed his eyesight could not be recovered and he is blind in that eye.
Dante grew up in a small private shelter and was a little shy and timid. He has recently moved into foster to learn all about living in a home. As you can see from his photos – he’s taken to home life very well! Dante’s confidence has grown and he’s an all-round good boy.
Dante is good with adults and children and enjoys a fuss. He’s a very sweet boy and loves other dogs. He enjoys doggie company and playing with the dogs he lives with. He doesn’t notice the cat in his foster home, so should be able to live with cats pending sensible introductions.
He’s just a young boy so has plenty of energy. He likes to have a run around, then have a lie down and chill for a bit. He can wear a collar and harness, and has been on a lead, but does need further lead training.
Dante is a rather dapper chap with his multi-hued brown coat, white chest and toes, especially when he is wearing his neckerchief. But really, it’s his beautiful personality that shines through, as his rescuer says, “he is a wonderful dog”.
