Oswald - adopted November 2016

We were looking to adopt a dog after the death of our beloved rescue dalmatians a couple of years back. We looked locally but there were no dogs at that time needing a home, so we searched social media and came across a photograph of Oswald in a pound in Romania and fell in love instantly. He had been picked up on the street with a damaged paw and an embedded puppy collar around his neck, needing an operation to remove. It was touch and go, but he came through thanks to Bia, Dana and his great devoted vet Aurelian.

When Oswald arrived he was like a stuffed dog: skinny, still bleeding from his post-op wounds, bedraggled, and shocked. Gallons of Yeo Valley Greek yogurt, and many bags of Lily's Kitchen dog food later, with tons of unconditional love from us all, he is the most wonderful dog in the world. He can't walk far due to the old paw injury and basically pootles around the garden, but he is happy, pretty healthy, and much adored. Bravo to everyone in Romania and here in the UK who helped to rescue him.
