Dog of the Month -  Lou

Lou has been in his foster family in the UK for a few months and is still waiting for his forever home. He loves walks, is good on the lead and good with other dogs. He would suit a home with another calm dog to help build his confidence. See his profile here:

Sponsor scheme

We are developing our new sponsor packs and will be launching them soon. All current sponsors will receive a new pack. For more information about our sponsor scheme and the dogs you can support please see

New online shop

We now have an online shop on our website where you can buy BDRUK merchandise - We have BDRUK mugs, keyrings, badges, notecards and more. All proceeds from the shop go towards helping us rescue dogs in need.

Sell on eBay to help us!

Do you have old clothes/toys/household items that you no longer need and want to raise money for yourself and BDRUK? If so you can sell them through eBay Charity and choose Blind Dog Rescue UK as your chosen charity.

You can donate 10-100% of the selling price to go to BDRUK and you will be refunded the same percentage of the eBay selling fee too! For more information see

Thank you!

We are so grateful to our amazing supporters who fundraise for us. This month we'd like to say a special thank you to:

Lyn who very kindly sponsored Sidney’s vet bills.

Huggy Dogs Food Aid for raising £117.50.

Julie for raising £80 at her vegan flower sale.

Appeal for fosters

We have transport sponsored for Rex (above) who has been waiting for such a long time. We would love to find him a foster so he can enjoy life in a home.

We would also love to find fosters for our lovely blind girls Belka and Sonja, and Bella. If you have space in your home to give a BDRUK dog a chance to learn what it is to live in a loving home then please get in touch by email at For more information about fostering please read our foster page at
