Character
Please meet lovely Model. Model is about 10 years old (as of August 2024). He weighs 25kg, is neutered and is fully sighted.
Model lived on the streets for a long time before he was rescued. He was known for always carrying something in his mouth, a bottle, a branch or a ball. Despite his age and background he is an active dog with a wonderful nature. Everyone who meets him is amazed at how wonderful his character is.
He is currently being treated for heartworm, but is otherwise in good health.
He is very cuddly and when approached for a stroke he will lie on his back, as he enjoys being petted.
He loves to play with a ball and toys. He can walk on a lead, enjoys walks and is good in cars. Model is a very good boy - he doesn't bark, he doesn't destroy things and he is toilet trained.
Model is good with other dogs but would prefer to be the only male dog in the household. It is not known how he would behave with cats.
Model's rescuer is hoping he will find a lovely home with a comfy bed, where he gets lots of cuddles.

Please note - we do not rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 10.
Type of Home Sought
Model would love a home with a garden where he can be a member of the family. Model is best suited to living as an only dog or with a smaller female dog.
Our adoption donation is £255. This includes travel to the UK, their vaccinations, pet passport, microchip and all preparation for travel. They also come with 5 weeks free insurance.
