Kathy

Kathy (born 2022, 14kg, fully sighted and currently in private boarding in Macedonia) doesn’t get much attention, nor many shares on social media. Maybe because she’s an ordinary-looking dog with no particular stand-out features: plain brown and black, a bit gangly, a bit scruffy, a bit houndy, and maybe a bit sad looking. But actually she is quite amazing; a survivor of a terrible start in life who has blossomed into a perfect playful, happy youngster. Definitely worth a second look… 

Kathy was rescued from living on the end of a chain. She was kept outside in all conditions with minimal comforts, malnourished, deprived and neglected. Now she has been properly cared for and experienced living in a home environment, she has put on a little weight, loves human affection, could be stroked for ever and has tons of love to give. When she smiles she is anything but ordinary! You can see her resilient, determined little soul. 

Kathy loves to play and has found her lively inner puppy now that she has her freedom. She adores going out on walks. She jumps excitedly into the car and travels beautifully and very calmly (and with a big smile on her face). Kathy also loves children. Kathy is great with other dogs and would be best rehomed with other dog(s) as she prefers not to be left alone at the moment. She has successfully met and cohabited with cats, but we would suggest cats are dog-savvy as she likes to play chase and may chase cats if they run. 

Kathy really is a cracking dog: an all-rounder, and so sweet; anything but ordinary!
