Character
Gorgeous Joey is a very friendly, partially sighted boy. He was born in 2021, weighs around 20kgs and is currently in Bosnia.
Joey used to live at a gas station in the city with his friend Lada, before they were taken to an awful shelter which was later closed by the authorities. Luckily they were rescued and taken to a private shelter. Lada has already found her forever home and Joey is hoping it’s his turn next.
Joey is real sweetheart – he loves children, adults and dogs. He shares his living space with multiple dogs and never causes a problem. He is happy to sleep and play with the other dogs, currently he prefers to eat separately. He been successfully cat tested, behaving beautifully and saying hello with a gentle sniff and a wagging tail.
Joey is well behaved around children and adults. So far, he’s not a playful dog that will go chasing after a ball, but he has probably never had the opportunity to learn to play with people. However he does like getting strokes and cuddles and enjoys being around people wagging his whole body when you talk to him.
Joey walks well on his harness and lead and is friendly to other dogs when meeting them on walks. He has a medium energy level and matches his pace to whomever is walking him. He would be happy to go out for walks with his family.
Joey maybe missing an eye, but he is always happy to say hello, wagging his tail and giving his love to everyone. While he has never lived in a home before, he’s a very good boy and would love the chance to learn all about the joy of home comforts and being part of a family.
His rescuer says he is one of the best natured dogs they have in the shelter – friendly with all. There are only good things to say about him and he deserves the best home.

Joey would love a home with a garden where he may indulge in some zoomies. He could live with other dogs and cats.
Our adoption donation is £325. This includes travel to the UK, their vaccinations, pet passport, microchip and all preparation for travel. They also come with 5 weeks free insurance (excluding The Channel Isles & Isle of Man).
