Lou was rescued from a public shelter in Romania after he had been brought there by the dogcatchers.
Lou is a quite a shy dog. He enjoys walks and is good on the lead. Lou is good with other dogs. Lou gets nervous at night at prefers to have a light left on. He can be left alone with other dogs. He can be defensive when approached from his blind side but is not aggressive. Lou enjoys being groomed and will sit for food and treats. His recall is good.
Lou is currently in foster in Hertfordshire.
Lou would suit a home with one other dog, preferably a calm one to improve his confidence. A quiet country location would be ideal.
Lou is losing the sight in his remaining eye and is expected to become blind.
