Monty was found fending for himself in frozen fields and dangerous snowy underpasses in Romania. Monty has a little sight, but is deaf. He is a wonderful companion dog, friendly with people and adores cuddles. He is good on lead, no pulling, short walks only, not interested in other dogs when out even if they bark at him. Monty is house trained, with excellent house behaviour.

Monty is currently in UK foster

Type of home sought

Monty would love a home with a garden and someone who is home most of the time. He is an entire male and is too senior to neuter so not to be with female dogs but could live with a laid back male dog. His new owner would need to continue treatment for a chronic skin condition which is controlled by weekly showers with special shampoo, steroids and hypoallergenic food.
